User Generated Content Policy

FuelWatchers is a community-driven platform that allows users to submit fuel price information, images, and related data.

This User Generated Content (UGC) Policy explains the responsibilities of users when submitting content to the platform and the rights of FuelWatchers regarding such content.

1. Definition of User Generated Content

User Generated Content includes any material submitted by users through the platform, including but not limited to:

  • Fuel price reports
  • Images of fuel station price boards
  • Images of fuel purchase receipts
  • Station information
  • Comments or feedback

All submitted content is the sole responsibility of the user who submitted it.

2. User Responsibility for Submissions

Users are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of their submissions.

3. Prohibited Content

Users must not upload content that includes:

  • Copyrighted images taken from other websites without permission
  • Fraudulent or manipulated fuel receipts
  • Altered or edited price board images intended to mislead
  • Offensive, abusive, or illegal content
  • Images unrelated to fuel price reporting
  • Personal private information such as identification cards, credit card numbers, or personal documents

FuelWatchers reserves the right to remove such content without notice.

4. Platform Moderation

FuelWatchers may review, analyze, or remove submissions using:

  • Automated systems
  • OCR analysis
  • Fraud detection algorithms
  • Manual moderation when necessary

FuelWatchers may remove or reject submissions that appear to be:

  • inaccurate
  • fraudulent
  • misleading
  • irrelevant to fuel price reporting

FuelWatchers is not obligated to review all content submitted by users.

5. License Granted to FuelWatchers

By submitting content to FuelWatchers, users grant FuelWatchers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

  • Store the submitted content
  • Process the content using automated systems
  • Extract fuel price information from images
  • Display derived information on the platform
  • Use anonymized data for analytics and system improvements

FuelWatchers may retain submitted content for platform operation, fraud prevention, and system improvement.

6. Limitation of Platform Liability

FuelWatchers acts as a platform that hosts user-generated content.

FuelWatchers does not create, control, or guarantee the accuracy of all user submissions.

FuelWatchers shall not be liable for:

  • inaccurate user submissions
  • fraudulent or misleading uploads
  • copyright violations committed by users
  • damages resulting from reliance on user-submitted data

Users access and rely on platform content at their own risk.

7. Content Removal Requests

If you believe that content on FuelWatchers:

  • infringes your copyright
  • contains unauthorized use of your content
  • violates applicable laws

you may request its removal by contacting us with:

  • Reason for the request
